The Black Nitride treatment gives the barrel a durable, low-reflection surface suited to hard-use and understated custom builds. It blends naturally with black slides for a uniform appearance while also providing a restrained contrast beneath FDE, gray, OD green, and other Cerakote finishes. The dark treatment offers added resistance to corrosion and surface wear from repeated cycling and routine maintenance.

An extended muzzle places the threads beyond the front of a compatible slide, providing the clearance required for common 1/2 x 28 TPI compensators and suppressor mounting systems.
