The extended muzzle is cut to accept common 9mm compensators and suppressors, making this barrel a versatile foundation for everything from a custom range pistol to a tuned competition-style setup.

Its Gold PVD finish becomes an immediate focal point beneath a windowed or heavily machined slide. The coating adds a hard, wear-resistant surface over the 416R stainless steel construction while creating sharp contrast against black, FDE, gray, and other popular slide treatments.

Zaffiri Precision machines the barrel in-house for consistent engagement with compatible OEM and aftermarket components. Carefully cut locking surfaces, chamber geometry, and feed-ramp contours support dependable cycling and repeatable lockup, while conventional rifling accommodates a broad selection of commonly used ammunition.

The barrel extends beyond the front of the slide to provide proper clearance for compatible 1/2×28 muzzle devices. This allows the pistol to be configured with a compensator for recoil management or an appropriate suppressor system when desired, then returned to a simpler configuration without replacing the barrel.

Designed for drop-in installation, this threaded barrel works with compatible Gen 1–4 pistols and Zaffiri Precision slide profiles, including ZPS.2, ZPS.3, Z Series, and IBS configurations. The result is a functional upgrade that adds muzzle-device capability while preserving the full-size balance and familiar handling of the G17 platform.
