The Zaffiri Precision Side Ported Barrel for G17 Gen 3 adds integrated gas control to compatible Glock 17 Gen 1–4 builds while giving the upper a bright, precision-machined stainless appearance. Angled ports along the sides of the barrel direct expanding gases laterally through matching slide windows, helping reduce muzzle rise and maintain a more stable sight picture during quick follow-up shots.

Polished stainless gives this configuration a distinctly mechanical look that works especially well beneath black or Flat Dark Earth slides. The exposed steel remains visible through the required side openings, highlighting the barrel and slide as a coordinated system rather than hiding the barrel inside a conventional enclosed upper.

The porting system delivers its effect without extending the muzzle beyond the normal barrel length. Compared with a threaded barrel and compensator setup, it keeps the pistol more compact and avoids adding a separate device at the front of the slide. This makes the barrel well suited to performance-oriented builds where recoil control and a streamlined overall profile are both priorities.
