The Zaffiri Precision IBS Slide for G17 Gen 3 is a stripped aftermarket slide designed for Glock 17 Gen 3-compatible frames. This FDE configuration is built around Zaffiri Precision’s Integrated Blowhole System, giving builders the slide foundation needed for a matched IBS barrel setup with integrated porting, RMR optic capability, and a clean non-threaded front end.

The IBS slide is not a standard windowed slide. Its top opening is designed to align with a compatible Zaffiri Precision IBS chunk-ported barrel, allowing gases to vent upward through the slide cutout. When the correct barrel is used, the slide and barrel work together as a compact ported system that helps reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil without adding an external compensator.

This slide includes an RMR optic cut for compatible RMR-pattern optics, making it a strong starting point for a red-dot-equipped Glock 17 Gen 3-style upper. The FDE Cerakote finish gives the build a more custom appearance while keeping the slide focused on the functional requirements of the IBS system: correct port alignment, optic readiness, and Gen 3 G17 frame compatibility.

Compared with a complete IBS upper, this stripped slide gives the builder more control over the final component package. Barrel, sights, upper parts kit, recoil assembly, optic, and small parts can be selected around the intended build. That flexibility is useful for builders who already have preferred internal parts or who want to match the slide with a specific Zaffiri Precision IBS barrel finish.

This slide should be treated as an IBS-specific component. Standard flush-and-crown, threaded, and side-ported barrels are not appropriate for the IBS window geometry. It is best suited for Glock 17 Gen 3-compatible builds where the slide and barrel will be selected together as a matched Integrated Blowhole System.
