The barrel terminates flush with the front of a compatible slide, preserving the short overall dimensions and balanced handling of the slimline platform. An inward crown recesses the end of the bore behind the outer muzzle face, helping protect the rifling from incidental contact while giving the assembled upper a clean, carefully finished appearance.

Zaffiri Precision machines the barrel from 416R stainless steel for strength, dimensional consistency, and dependable engagement with compatible components. Precision-cut chamber, feed-ramp, hood, and locking surfaces support smooth feeding and repeatable barrel positioning as the slide cycles and returns to battery.

The gold appearance is created by a Titanium Nitride (TiN) finish applied over the stainless steel construction.
