Its muzzle sits flush with the front of a compatible slide rather than extending beyond it. Zaffiri Precision adds a recessed crown at the bore, placing the end of the rifling behind the outer barrel face to help protect this critical surface from incidental contact. The finished assembly has no exposed threads, thread protector, or compensator altering the front-end dimensions.
