Toolcraft DLC 308 Bolt Carrier Group is manufactured using a 9310 steel bolt and 8620 steel carrier. Diamond-like carbon Coating (DLC) is a relatively new and highly desired coating for BCGs. DLC has a very low coefficient of friction, is self-lubricating in dry conditions, is extremely resistant to wear and corrosion, and is one of the hardest coatings at 90 Rockwell. DLC is tough, hence the Diamond-like name. It features additional lubricity over Nickel Bore, and carbon fouling wipes right off with a dry patch.
