Toolcraft 7.62×39 Bolt Carrier Group | DLC
The Toolcraft 7.62×39 Bolt Carrier Group with Diamond-Like Carbon finish is built for AR-15 platforms chambered in 7.62x39mm. Using a 9310 steel bolt and full-auto profile 8620 steel carrier, this BCG combines caliber-specific bolt geometry with Toolcraft’s hard, low-friction DLC treatment for smooth cycling, excellent wear resistance, and easier maintenance.
The 7.62×39-specific bolt uses a .125-inch bolt face depth and is shot peened and Magnetic Particle Inspected for quality control. A 4140 steel extractor, Mil-Spec extractor O-ring, and triple gas rings support reliable extraction and consistent gas sealing in properly configured AR-15 systems.
The DLC finish is one of the defining features of this configuration. Rated at approximately 90 Rockwell, the Diamond-Like Carbon treatment provides an extremely hard, slick surface that helps reduce friction, resist wear and corrosion, and limit carbon adhesion. The result is a carrier group that remains easy to clean even after extended use.
The 8620 steel carrier uses a full-mass M16 profile for conventional AR-15 cycling characteristics. A 4130 steel gas key is secured with Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked, while an 8620 steel cam pin and 416 stainless steel firing pin complete the assembly.
