The Toolcraft 458 SOCOM Bolt Carrier Group is a full-auto M16-profile BCG built specifically for large-bore AR-15 rifles chambered in .458 SOCOM. This configuration combines a 9310 steel bolt with an 8620 steel carrier and a Nickel Boron finish for smooth cycling, strong wear resistance, corrosion protection, and easier cleanup.

The .458 SOCOM bolt is machined to accommodate the cartridge’s substantially larger case head while retaining standard AR-15 carrier dimensions. Toolcraft shot peens and Magnetic Particle Inspects the 9310 bolt for quality control, then pairs it with a D2 tool steel extractor, Mil-Spec O-ring, and triple gas rings to support dependable extraction and gas sealing.

Nickel Boron gives both the bolt and carrier a slick, low-friction surface that helps reduce drag between reciprocating components. The coating also resists carbon adhesion and corrosion, making routine maintenance easier while giving the BCG its distinctive silver appearance.

The full-mass M16 carrier helps maintain conventional AR-15 cycling characteristics even in the larger-bore .458 SOCOM platform. A 4130 steel gas key is secured with Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked, while forward assist serrations, an 8620 steel cam pin, and 416 stainless steel firing pin complete the assembly.
