The Toolcraft 224 Valkyrie Bolt Carrier Group combines a full-auto M16 carrier profile with a 9310 steel bolt and a slick Nickel Boron finish for AR-15 rifles chambered in .224 Valkyrie. Built around the same bolt-face geometry used by 6.8 SPC, this BCG provides the strength, reliability, and smooth cycling expected from Toolcraft while adding the low-friction characteristics of NiB coating.
The carrier is machined from 8620 steel and paired with a 9310 alloy steel bolt. The bolt is shot peened and Magnetic Particle Inspected as part of Toolcraft’s quality-control process, while the extractor is manufactured from hardened tool steel for dependable extraction under the higher operating pressures associated with modern intermediate cartridges.
Nickel Boron is one of Toolcraft’s premium carrier finishes. Its exceptionally smooth surface reduces friction between reciprocating components, provides excellent resistance to wear and corrosion, and helps prevent carbon from adhering as aggressively as it does to more traditional finishes. The result is easier cleanup and smooth operation with less reliance on heavy lubrication.
The full-mass M16 carrier maintains conventional AR-15 reciprocating weight for dependable cycling.
