The Timney AR Targa 2 Stage Long Trigger is a self-contained drop-in trigger built for shooters who prefer a longer first-stage take-up in an AR-platform rifle. This flat-shoe configuration is factory tuned with a 2 lb first stage and a crisp 2 lb second stage, giving the trigger a combined 4 lb pull weight with a controlled, predictable break.

The long two-stage design gives the shooter a defined first-stage movement before reaching the second-stage wall. From there, the trigger breaks cleanly for a more deliberate press than a standard single-stage trigger. The flat trigger shoe provides a straight contact surface that supports consistent finger placement and a repeatable trigger press.

Timney designed the AR Targa Long Two-Stage as an easy-to-install, no-gunsmith-needed upgrade. The trigger arrives hand-assembled, tested, and calibrated, with no adjustment required before use. Anti-walk pins are not required, and the drop-in cassette design keeps installation straightforward for compatible AR lowers.

The trigger is compatible with Mil-Spec AR lowers, including AR-15 and AR-10 platforms, and is not compatible with AR PCCs. This 663S-ST configuration uses the straight trigger shoe and small-pin setup, making it appropriate for standard small-pin AR-pattern receivers.

For shooters who prefer a two-stage trigger with a longer first-stage feel, the Targa Long provides a clean balance of control, consistency, and practical installation convenience.
