The Timney Alpha Competition Series Trigger for Glock^® Gen 5 pistols is a drop-in competition trigger upgrade built to deliver a crisp, light trigger pull while retaining use of the factory Glock^® parts and springs. Designed for stock Gen 5 medium-frame Glock^® pistols, the Alpha Competition trigger gives shooters a cleaner break, smoother pull, and more refined trigger feel than the standard factory trigger system.

Timney factory sets the Alpha Competition trigger at a 3 lb pull weight. The trigger bar and sear are treated with a Teflon nickel NP3 coating, a slick, low-friction finish that helps create the smooth press and clean reset feel associated with the Alpha series. The straight aluminum trigger shoe includes an anodized safety blade for a firm, consistent trigger face and a more competition-oriented press.

This Gen 5-specific Alpha trigger is built for the geometry of stock Gen 5 Glock^® pistols and should not be confused with Gen 3-4 or large-frame Alpha models. It is intended for competition use and installs without gunsmithing when used with compatible stock pistols. The system uses the factory Glock^® components and springs, helping keep installation straightforward while delivering a noticeably upgraded trigger feel.
