The Stag 15 Nitride Bolt Carrier Group, 5.56 NATO / 223 Rem | Left Handed is purpose-built for AR-15 rifles and uppers configured for left-hand ejection. Designed around Stag Arms’ dedicated left-handed operating system, this complete BCG provides the reversed geometry required for reliable cycling in compatible left-ejecting AR-15 platforms.

Compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, and .300 Blackout, this Stag left-handed BCG provides a direct replacement or build component for shooters using the company’s left-ejecting rifles and upper assemblies. Its salt bath nitride finish adds a hard, corrosion-resistant surface while helping reduce friction and simplify routine cleaning.

Purpose-Built Left-Handed AR-15 BCG

This is not a standard right-handed carrier group adapted for another application. Stag Arms engineers the assembly specifically for left-hand ejection, with the bolt and carrier geometry configured to work with compatible Stag left-handed barrels and upper receivers.

For a new left-handed AR-15 build or replacement of an existing carrier group, maintaining the correct left-ejecting component configuration is essential for proper function and compatibility.

Salt Bath Nitride Finish

The carrier group receives a salt bath nitride treatment, also known as QPQ. This process hardens the treated surface while improving wear and corrosion resistance without adding a conventional plated coating. The resulting smooth surface also helps reduce fouling adhesion and allows the BCG to operate efficiently with normal lubrication.

5.56, .223, and 300 Blackout Compatibility
