The Rise Armament AR-10 Ambidextrous Charging Handle is a purpose-built upgrade for large-frame AR rifles, providing fast, positive manipulation from either side of the receiver. Precision machined from 7075 aluminum, the RA-230 combines a strong, lightweight construction with dual ambidextrous latches designed for dependable charging whether operating the rifle right- or left-handed.

Both latches feature anti-slip grooves that provide a secure contact surface when pulling the charging handle. The enlarged ambidextrous layout is particularly useful when working around a mounted optic or operating the rifle while wearing gloves, giving the shooter easier access than a conventional single-sided charging handle.

Rise Armament machines the RA-230 from 7075 aluminum for the strength required in a frequently manipulated upper-receiver component. A black MIL-A-8625F Type II, Class 2 anodized finish protects the aluminum and gives the handle a clean, low-profile appearance that integrates easily with virtually any black AR-10 upper.

Designed for Ambidextrous Control

The RA-230 provides the same charging access from either side of the rifle, making it equally useful for left- and right-handed shooters. The dual-latch configuration also allows the charging handle to be operated from one side when the opposite side is obstructed by shooting position, equipment, or optic placement.
