INTRA-LOK® Taper Lock Mounting System
Radian’s proprietary INTRA-LOK® system uses a taper lock principle for secure and repeatable installation. A tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove machined into the underside of the barrel, precisely timing the compensator as it locks onto the upper barrel profile at the muzzle. Installation is straightforward—slide the compensator into place, insert and tighten the locking screw for consistent alignment. The design also allows easy barrel removal for maintenance.
Premium Materials with Radianite™ Coating
The AFTERBURNER™ compensator is machined from hardened stainless steel, while the RAMJET™ barrel is constructed from hardened 416R stainless steel. Both components are finished with Radianite™ coating, providing low friction, high surface hardness, and strong corrosion resistance. Angled front faces on the compensator aid in smooth holstering.
Match-Grade Barrel Performance
The RAMJET™ barrel features a match-grade profile designed for accuracy and durability. When installed on a Glock™ G43X™, the AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ extends overall slide length to that of a G48™, allowing compatibility with G48 holsters while preserving the slim G43X grip profile.
