The Outerwild Outpost AR-15 15″ Premium M-LOK® Handguard in Black Anodized finish is a free-float rail built for AR-15 builders who want extended handguard coverage, clean machining, and practical M-LOK® accessory support. Outerwild machines the Premium Line in-house from a custom 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion, giving the handguard a more uniform exterior than rails that are only slotted from extrusion.
The 15″ top rail provides full-length Picatinny mounting space for sights, optics accessories, and other rail-mounted equipment. Its extended profile gives the shooter more room for support-hand placement and accessory spacing, making it a strong fit for rifle-length builds, modern sporting rifles, and setups that benefit from a longer free-float rail.
M-LOK® mounting points at the 3:00, 6:00, and 9:00 positions allow flexible placement of compatible lights, grips, sling accessories, bipods, and hand stops while keeping the handguard slimmer than a traditional quad rail. Built-in anti-rotation tabs help maintain rail alignment with the upper receiver during installation and use.
The included 4140 steel barrel nut does not need to be indexed for gas tube clearance and installs with a standard castle nut wrench. With a 1.250″ inside diameter, this handguard is compatible with low-profile gas blocks, giving builders room for common AR-15 gas system configurations under the rail.
