This Once Fired Lake City 762 x 51 (.308) Brass is genuine U.S. military once-fired brass, known for its thick walls, reliable case strength, and consistent reloading performance. Sourced directly from military firing ranges, this brass serves as a durable, high-value base for loading both 7.62×51 NATO and .308 Winchester cartridges.

Our current stock appears to be entirely Lake City headstamp, though trace quantities of other NATO brass may be included. Each lot is machine- and magnetically sorted to eliminate steel cases and visually inspected to discard clearly damaged pieces. A 1% overage by weight is added to every order to account for any unusable or nickel-plated cases.

All military 7.62×51 brass features crimped primer pockets, which require swaging or reaming before reloading. This brass is boxer-primed and true once-fired—ideal for reloaders who want affordable, long-lasting cases for bulk range loads, hunting rounds, or match-quality ammo when properly prepped.

Lake City brass is compatible with bolt-action rifles, M1A platforms, AR-10s, and other semi-auto or precision .308 Winchester firearms. With proper sorting and case prep, reloaders can expect multiple reuses per case and tight consistency shot-to-shot.
