The Magpul STR (Storage/Type Restricted) Carbine Stock – Mil-Spec in OD Green is a feature-rich, drop-in replacement for AR-15/M4 carbines using Mil-Spec-sized receiver extension tubes. Designed as a storage-capable upgrade to the Magpul CTR®, the STR combines an improved cheek weld with integrated storage in a compact, reinforced polymer A-frame construction for strength and durability.

Outfitted with dual water-resistant battery storage tubes, the STR provides secure, accessible onboard storage without compromising its streamlined profile. A shielded operation lever and supplemental friction lock system prevent accidental adjustments and minimize stock movement, enhancing shooting stability and precision.

For maximum versatility, the STR Carbine Stock includes two integral sling loops, a reversible push-button QD sling mount, and a replaceable 0.30-inch rubber butt-pad that provides a solid, non-slip shoulder fit — even when using body armor or load-bearing gear.
