The Magpul STR (Storage/Type Restricted) Carbine Stock – Mil-Spec is a feature-rich drop-in replacement for AR-15/M4 carbines using Mil-Spec-sized receiver extension tubes. Designed as a storage-capable version of the Magpul CTR®, the STR offers an improved cheek weld and integrated storage while maintaining a compact and reinforced polymer A-frame construction.

With dual water-resistant battery storage tubes, the STR provides convenient onboard storage without compromising its slim profile. The stock’s shielded operation lever and supplemental friction locking system help prevent accidental adjustments while minimizing excessive stock movement, improving weapon stability and accuracy.

For versatility, the STR Carbine Stock includes two integral sling loops, a reversible push-button QD sling mount, and a replaceable 0.30-inch thick rubber butt-pad. This butt-pad enhances shoulder stability and prevents slippage, even when using body armor or modular gear.
