The Killer Innovations Velocity V2 Slide for Glock 17 Gen 3 delivers the optic-ready performance and enhanced manipulation of the Velocity platform in a more enclosed, windowless design. Machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in DLC Black, the V2 is a strong option for Glock 17 Gen 3 builds that prioritize durability, positive slide control, and direct red dot mounting without the open side windows found on the Velocity V1.

The defining difference of the V2 is its solid slide body. By eliminating the large window cuts used on the V1, Killer Innovations creates a cleaner exterior that provides more coverage around the barrel and helps reduce opportunities for dirt and debris to enter the slide. Extensive contouring and exterior machining still give the V2 the unmistakable Velocity appearance while maintaining a functional, purpose-driven profile.

Forward and rear Enhanced Grip Feature cuts provide aggressive manipulation points at both ends of the slide. Killer Innovations designed these E.G.F. surfaces to create a positive wall that can be pushed against while racking the pistol, performing a press check, or clearing the action. This provides more defined purchase than relying exclusively on traditional serrations.

Red dot capability is integrated directly into the slide through Killer Innovations’ dual optic-cut system. The Velocity V2 supports both Trijicon RMR and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro mounting footprints without requiring a conventional adapter plate. Select Holosun, EOTech, and other optics using compatible RMR or DeltaPoint Pro patterns may also fit when their dimensions and mounting requirements are appropriate.

A Diamond-Like Carbon coating gives this Glock 17 Gen 3 slide its deep black finish while adding a hard, low-friction surface over the 17-4 stainless steel. The DLC treatment provides excellent resistance to abrasion and corrosion, making the V2 well suited to regularly used range, competition, and custom pistol builds.
