The Killer Innovations Velocity V1 Slide for Glock 19 Gen 3 is a lightweight, optic-ready upgrade for compact Glock 19 builds that need more than a basic replacement slide. Machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in DLC Black, the Velocity V1 combines three weight-reducing windows, aggressive manipulation surfaces, and direct red dot mounting in a compact Gen 3 package.

Killer Innovations’ Enhanced Grip Feature machining runs across both the front and rear portions of the slide. Rather than functioning as purely cosmetic serrations, the E.G.F. cuts create pronounced surfaces that provide leverage when racking the slide, checking the chamber, or clearing the action. The layout also gives shooters the option to manipulate the Glock 19 slide from either end without depending on one narrow gripping area.

For optic-equipped builds, the Velocity V1 incorporates a dual mounting system cut directly into the slide. Both Trijicon RMR and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprints are supported without requiring a conventional adapter plate. Select Holosun, EOTech, and other red dots using one of these compatible mounting patterns can also be used when their dimensions and mounting hardware meet the slide requirements.

Three large windows reduce material and give the V1 its distinctive open-slide profile, allowing a contrasting barrel finish to become part of the overall build. Killer Innovations lists the Glock 19 Velocity V1 at approximately 8.7 ounces with the optic cover plate and screws installed, making it lighter than the full-size Glock 17 version while retaining durable stainless-steel construction.

The DLC Black finish adds a hard, low-friction surface over the 17-4 stainless steel. Diamond-Like Carbon is well suited to a component exposed to repeated cycling, holster contact, carbon, and handling, providing excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance while maintaining a subdued black appearance.
