Finished in MDC Gray, the V1 gives a Glock 17 Gen 4 build a distinctive appearance while incorporating features intended to improve slide manipulation, reduce unnecessary mass, and simplify red dot installation.

Three large window cuts define the Velocity V1 profile and expose portions of the barrel beneath the slide. Alongside the windows, Killer Innovations machines its Enhanced Grip Feature cuts into both the front and rear. These E.G.F. cuts create positive edges that give the shooter a defined surface to push against rather than relying entirely on conventional slide serrations.

The integrated dual optic cut eliminates the need for a separate adapter plate when mounting either a Trijicon RMR or Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint optic. This gives the slide considerably more red dot flexibility than a single-footprint cut while keeping the optic mounted directly to the slide. Certain Holosun and other red dots that use a compatible RMR or DeltaPoint Pro mounting pattern may also fit when their dimensions and mounting hardware are appropriate.

Construction begins with 17-4 stainless steel, providing the strength and corrosion resistance expected from a premium aftermarket Glock slide. The MDC Gray PVD coating adds a durable exterior treatment while giving this version a distinctive neutral-gray appearance that works particularly well with contrasting black, stainless, or colored barrels and controls.

This configuration is manufactured specifically for the Glock 17 Gen 4 platform. Killer Innovations lists the Gen 4 V1 at approximately 9.1 ounces as a stripped slide with its optic cover plate and screws installed, maintaining substantial stainless-steel construction while removing material through the slide windows and exterior machining.
