The Killer Innovations Velocity V1 Slide for Glock 17 Gen 4 combines an optic-ready layout, functional weight reduction, and aggressive slide manipulation surfaces in a durable DLC Black configuration. Machined from 17-4 stainless steel, the V1 is designed as a premium replacement slide for Glock 17 Gen 4 pistols and custom builds where strength, red dot compatibility, and distinctive machining all matter.

Killer Innovations gives the Velocity V1 three large window cuts that remove material while exposing portions of the barrel beneath the slide. The design is paired with front and rear Enhanced Grip Feature cuts, or E.G.F. cuts, that create defined gripping walls for more positive slide manipulation. These surfaces provide leverage when charging the pistol, performing a press check, or clearing the action without relying solely on shallow traditional serrations.

The slide also features Killer Innovations’ dual optic cut, allowing direct mounting of either a Trijicon RMR or Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint optic without a separate adapter plate. Certain Holosun and other red dots that share one of these mounting patterns may also be compatible when the optic manufacturer’s dimensions and screw requirements match the slide.

A Diamond-Like Carbon finish gives this version its deep black appearance while adding a hard, wear-resistant surface over the stainless-steel slide. The combination of DLC and 17-4 stainless construction makes the slide well suited to frequently used range pistols, competition-oriented builds, and custom Glock 17 configurations where long-term surface durability is a priority.
