The Killer Innovations Velocity V1 Slide for Glock 17 Gen 3 is built for shooters who want faster slide manipulation, direct-mount red dot capability, and a lightweight custom profile without sacrificing the strength of a stainless-steel slide. Precision machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in MDC Gray, the V1 combines three window cuts with Killer Innovations’ distinctive Enhanced Grip Feature machining for a slide that is as functional as it is visually aggressive.

The V1’s E.G.F. cuts are positioned at both the front and rear of the slide. Rather than relying exclusively on shallow serrations, these cuts create a positive surface to push against when racking or clearing the pistol, providing more deliberate purchase whether the slide is manipulated from the front or rear.

Optics mounting is handled by Killer Innovations’ dual-cut system. The slide accepts both Trijicon RMR and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprints without requiring a separate adapter plate. Compatible optics that share those footprints may also fit, but optic-specific dimensions and screw requirements should always be confirmed with the optic manufacturer.

At approximately 9.1 ounces with the cover plate and screws installed, the stripped Glock 17 slide reduces mass compared with a conventional full-profile design while retaining durable 17-4 stainless construction. The three window cuts further define the V1 design and provide additional visibility of a contrasting barrel on custom builds.

This Gen 3 version is sold as a stripped slide and does not include a barrel, recoil assembly, internal upper parts, sights, or channel liner. Killer Innovations includes the optic cover plate, cover plate screws, and RMR shim needed for the slide’s optic system.
