The Killer Innovations Velocity V1 Slide for Glock 17 Gen 3 transforms a standard full-size build with aggressive machining, integrated red dot capability, and a hard-wearing DLC Black finish. Precision machined from 17-4 stainless steel, the V1 combines three strategically placed windows with Killer Innovations’ Enhanced Grip Feature cuts to reduce unnecessary slide mass while creating positive manipulation points at both the front and rear.

The Enhanced Grip Feature, or E.G.F., is more than conventional slide serration. Each cut creates a defined surface that can be pushed against when racking the slide, performing a chamber check, or clearing the pistol. With E.G.F. machining positioned at both ends of the slide, users can maintain positive purchase regardless of their preferred manipulation technique.

Red dot installation is simplified by Killer Innovations’ dual optic-cut system. The Velocity V1 is machined to directly support both the Trijicon RMR and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprints without requiring an intermediary mounting plate. Select Holosun and other optics sharing one of these footprints may also be compatible when their dimensions and mounting hardware match the slide specifications.

The DLC Black coating provides a hard, low-friction surface with excellent resistance to abrasion, corrosion, and repeated cycling wear. Combined with 17-4 stainless steel construction, it gives the slide the durability required for high-round-count range pistols, competition builds, and regularly carried firearms while maintaining a deep black appearance.

Three window cuts distinguish the Velocity V1 from the V2 configuration and expose more of the barrel on contrasting builds. The Glock 17 version weighs approximately 9.1 ounces as a stripped slide with its optic cover plate and screws installed, balancing reduced mass with the strength of stainless-steel construction.
