Holosun 515GM

The Holosun 515GM is a compact enclosed rifle optic available with either a red or green Multi-Reticle System. Select the preferred reticle color from the available options above. Both configurations combine a durable 7075-T6 aluminum housing, a versatile selectable reticle, Solar Failsafe, Shake Awake, protective lens covers, and a quick-detach lower 1/3 co-witness mount.

Designed for rifles, carbines, and pistol-caliber carbines, the 515GM provides a protected 20mm optical system without adding unnecessary bulk to the firearm. The enclosed housing shields the LED emitter from rain, dust, mud, and debris while supporting fast, both-eyes-open shooting from conventional and unconventional positions.

Holosun’s Multi-Reticle System allows the shooter to select a precise 2 MOA dot, a large 65 MOA circle, or the combined circle-dot reticle. The dot creates a clean aiming point for deliberate shots, while the larger circle provides a prominent visual reference for rapid presentations, close-range engagements, and quick transitions between targets.

The Red variation uses a 650nm Super LED, while the Green variation uses a high-visibility 540nm Super LED. Both versions provide eight daylight and four night-vision-compatible brightness settings, allowing reticle intensity to be adjusted for bright outdoor use, reduced-light environments, and compatible night-vision equipment.

Solar Failsafe supplements the CR2032 battery with available ambient light and supports automatic brightness adjustment when the optic is operated in Auto Mode. Manual Mode provides direct control over illumination when a consistent reticle intensity is preferred.

Shake Awake conserves battery power by placing the optic into standby after inactivity and restoring the previous setting when movement is detected. Memory Function retains the last-used setting, while Lockout Mode helps prevent unintended button presses from changing the selected reticle or brightness level.

A tool-free side-loading battery tray allows the CR2032 battery to be replaced without removing the optic from the firearm or disturbing its zero. Battery life reaches up to 50,000 hours at brightness setting six, supporting extended operation between routine battery changes.

Removable rotating lens caps protect the front and rear glass during transport, storage, and field use. The clear covers can remain closed while the optic is used, providing an additional layer of protection in adverse conditions. A removable kill flash helps reduce reflections from the objective lens.

The included quick-detach Picatinny mount places the optical centerline at a 1.63-inch lower 1/3 co-witness height. Its QD lever provides fast installation and removal while maintaining an AR-friendly sight height for use with standard iron sights and magnifiers.
