Shop small parts and muzzle components for compatible SIG SAUER® P365-family pistols at Arm or Ally. Current offerings include P365 compensators and thread protectors from manufacturers such as Faxon and Ballistic Advantage for use with appropriately configured threaded barrels.
These components depend heavily on barrel thread specifications and muzzle geometry. Confirm the thread pitch, barrel configuration, and manufacturer fitment requirements before installation.

A pistol compensator mounts at the muzzle and redirects propellant gases through ports in the device. Different compensators use different dimensions, port arrangements, attachment methods, and host-pistol requirements.
Arm or Ally currently carries the Faxon EXOS-525 compensator for compatible SIG P365 and P365XL pistols.
The EXOS-525 is designed for 9mm P365-family pistols using a compatible 1/2×28 threaded barrel. Faxon uses a compact single-chamber design with angled ports and optimizes the component around its P365 and P365XL threaded barrels.
Before choosing a compensator, start by selecting the correct threaded barrel for your SIG P365.
The Faxon EXOS-525 is a host-specific compensator rather than a generic universal muzzle device.
Faxon specifies the EXOS-525 for compatible SIG P365 and P365XL 9mm pistols using 1/2×28 threaded barrels. It is optimized around Faxon threaded barrels but may also be used with other compatible 1/2×28 barrels when the required dimensions and clearances are met.
Because barrel protrusion and slide geometry affect fit, check the compensator and barrel specifications together before installation.
You can compare compatible P365 and P365XL threaded barrels before selecting the muzzle component.
A thread protector covers exposed muzzle threads when a compensator or other threaded device is not installed.
Arm or Ally currently carries Ballistic Advantage pistol barrel thread protectors for compatible 1/2×28 threaded barrels. The correct protector is determined primarily by the barrel’s actual thread pattern and muzzle geometry, not by the pistol model name alone.
A 1/2×28 protector should not be installed on a barrel using a different thread specification.
If you have not yet selected the barrel, start with our SIG P365 barrel category and confirm its muzzle-thread specification first.
Exposed muzzle threads can collect fouling, debris, or physical damage when no muzzle device is attached. A correctly fitted thread protector covers the threaded portion of the barrel while maintaining a compact muzzle profile.
Thread protectors are removable and can be replaced by a compatible compensator or other muzzle device when desired.
Check the protector periodically during normal maintenance to make sure it remains properly seated.
A compensator and barrel should be treated as a matched interface.
Before combining components, verify:
Not every 1/2×28 compensator is dimensionally appropriate for every 1/2×28 pistol barrel.
Standard P365 and P365XL slides use different barrel lengths, and the corresponding threaded barrels are also different.
Select the correct P365 threaded barrel for the slide first. The muzzle component is then selected according to the barrel’s thread pattern and the manufacturer’s host-pistol requirements.
If you are changing the entire upper assembly, compare our P365 and P365XL slides before choosing the barrel and muzzle device.
A conventional threaded compensator such as the Faxon EXOS-525 requires an exposed threaded barrel. That differs from P365 configurations that use slide-integrated compensation or other proprietary barrel-and-compensator systems.
Do not assume that a component intended for a threaded P365 barrel will work with a factory compensated slide configuration. Use the compatibility information provided with the specific product.
Ballistic Advantage thread protectors currently listed in this category are designed for compatible 9mm pistol barrels with 1/2×28 muzzle threads.
They can be used with compatible Ballistic Advantage threaded pistol barrels and may fit other manufacturers’ barrels when the actual thread dimensions and muzzle geometry are compatible.
Because these are thread-specific rather than model-specific components, verify the barrel rather than relying solely on a P365, P365XL, or XMacro designation.
If you are starting with a complete upper configuration rather than an individual muzzle component, select parts in this order:
First confirm the appropriate P365 or P365XL slide. Then select the corresponding P365 barrel. For a threaded barrel, finish the muzzle configuration with a compatible compensator or thread protector from this category.

Compatibility depends on the barrel and pistol configuration. The Faxon EXOS-525 currently carried by Arm or Ally is designed for compatible SIG P365 and P365XL 9mm pistols using an appropriate 1/2×28 threaded barrel.
A conventional thread-mounted compensator requires a compatible threaded barrel. Other compensator systems may use different mounting methods, so follow the requirements of the specific product.
The protector must match the barrel’s actual muzzle thread specification. Many aftermarket 9mm P365 barrels use 1/2×28 threads, but the barrel specification should be verified before ordering a protector.
Potentially, if the other barrel uses compatible 1/2×28 muzzle threads and the dimensions and muzzle geometry are appropriate. Thread compatibility should be confirmed rather than relying on pistol model alone.
Some compensators are designed for both configurations. Faxon specifies the EXOS-525 for compatible P365 and P365XL pistols, but it still requires a compatible threaded barrel and proper clearance.
