If you are assembling a standard-length upper, pair the slide with an appropriately configured P365 barrel and recoil spring assembly rather than substituting components designed for an XL-length slide.

P365XL and XMacro Slides

P365XL-length slides use the longer upper architecture associated with a 3.7-inch non-threaded barrel.

Current Killer Innovations Velocity Defense XL slides are designed for compatible P365XL, P365 XMacro, and P365 Spectre configurations using the 3.7-inch barrel system.

Because the P365 family includes several XMacro configurations, do not assume every part labeled XMacro uses the same barrel and slide combination. Confirm the exact pistol and slide specification before pairing an aftermarket slide with a P365XL or XMacro barrel.

Stripped P365 Slides

Many aftermarket P365 slides are sold stripped. A stripped slide is primarily the machined slide body and does not necessarily include the barrel, recoil spring assembly, sights, extractor system, striker components, or other internal parts.

Optics-Ready Slides for SIG P365

An optics-ready P365 slide allows a compatible micro red-dot sight to mount directly to the slide or through manufacturer-specified hardware.

Current Killer Innovations Velocity Defense slides use a dual-cut optic system supporting several compact optic families. Depending on the specific mounting configuration, compatible optics can include Trijicon RMRcc, Shield RMSc-family optics, Holosun EPS Carry, Holosun 407K/507K, SIG Sauer ROMEOZero, and other supported designs.

Do not treat “micro red dot” as a universal mounting standard. Confirm:

• The slide’s optic footprint.
• The optic’s mounting footprint.
• The required mounting screws.
• Whether a shim, bushing, plate, or other adapter is required.
• Whether the selected sights provide the desired sight picture with the optic installed.

Use the mounting hardware and torque specifications identified by the slide and optic manufacturers.

Arm or Ally currently carries Killer Innovations Velocity Defense V1 slides for both standard and XL-length P365 configurations.

These slides are machined from 17-4 stainless steel and incorporate Killer Innovations’ Enhanced Grip Feature cuts for additional manipulation surfaces. Current offerings also use an optics-ready dual-cut system rather than limiting the slide to a single micro-optic family.

Standard and XL Velocity Defense slides are separate products with different dimensions and intended barrel configurations. Choose the version that corresponds to the P365 barrel and upper assembly you intend to use.

P365 Slide and Barrel Compatibility

A slide and barrel function as a matched portion of the upper assembly, so the barrel should be selected according to the slide’s intended configuration.

Standard P365 slides commonly use a standard 3.1-inch non-threaded barrel or the corresponding extended threaded barrel.

P365XL-length slides commonly use a 3.7-inch non-threaded barrel or a longer threaded barrel designed specifically for the XL-length system.

The stated overall length of a threaded barrel will be longer because the muzzle must extend beyond the slide to expose the threads.
