Chambered in .308 Winchester, it handles a wide range of factory loads and handloads with consistent performance. The 5R button rifling paired with a 1:10 twist rate stabilizes a variety of bullet weights, particularly match-grade projectiles in the 150 to 175 grain range. The rifling profile also reduces jacket deformation and fouling, contributing to increased barrel life and easier maintenance.
The bore and exterior are treated with a salt bath nitride finish, delivering exceptional corrosion resistance and surface hardness while maintaining match-grade tolerances. A .750″ gas block journal ensures compatibility with most low-profile gas blocks, while the 5/8×24 TPI muzzle threading supports your choice of compensators, brakes, or suppressors. At the muzzle, a recessed 11-degree target crown ensures consistent gas exit and contributes to exceptional accuracy shot after shot.
The barrel features an M4 barrel extension with a Nickel Teflon NP3 coating for smooth lockup and added corrosion protection. Weighing approximately 2.75 lbs, this spiral fluted profile maintains the rigidity needed for precision shooting without the excessive weight of a full heavy-contour barrel.
