The Faxon Match Series 12″ Flame Fluted 8.6 Blackout 416R SS Nitride 5R Pistol-Length Barrel is designed for shooters who demand maximum performance and precision from a compact AR-10 configuration. Engineered in-house from 416R stainless steel and finished with salt bath nitride for enhanced corrosion resistance and durability, this barrel is built to handle the unique pressures and projectile demands of the 8.6 Blackout cartridge. With its aggressive flame fluting, the barrel sheds weight and increases surface area, boosting heat dissipation during high-volume fire while adding striking visual appeal.

The 12-inch length offers a compact platform ideal for AR-10 pistols or short-barreled rifles, maintaining maneuverability without sacrificing ballistic capability. This barrel features a 1:3 twist rate to properly stabilize the heavy, subsonic bullets commonly associated with 8.6 Blackout, ensuring reliable energy delivery and tight groupings even at extended ranges.
