The Faxon EXOS-525 Pistol Compensator is a compact 9mm muzzle device engineered specifically for SIG P365 and P365XL pistols equipped with a compatible 1/2×28 threaded barrel. Machined from lightweight 6061 aluminum and finished in Black Anodize, the EXOS-525 uses a single-chamber design with angled ports to redirect propellant gases and help reduce muzzle climb during rapid fire.

The EXOS-525 is designed around the compact dimensions of the P365 platform rather than using an oversized universal compensator profile. Its angled port geometry directs gas upward and forward, helping manage muzzle movement while keeping the overall package relatively short and streamlined.

Faxon optimized the compensator for use with its own P365 and P365XL threaded barrels, where it is designed to sit close to the slide for a clean integrated appearance. It can also be used with compatible non-Faxon 1/2×28 barrels, although Faxon recommends a barrel protrusion of 0.600 inch or less when a flush-fit appearance is desired.

Installation is handled with two 6-32 set screws, and Faxon includes thread locker and the required 1/16-inch Allen wrench. At approximately 0.05 lb, the EXOS-525 adds minimal weight to the muzzle while providing a dedicated compensator option for compact P365 builds.

Angled-Port EXOS Design

Instead of relying on straight side ports, the EXOS-525 uses a uniquely angled single-chamber layout that redirects expanding gases upward and forward. This geometry is designed to counter muzzle rise while keeping the compensator compact enough for the micro-compact P365 platform.

Optimized for Faxon Threaded Barrels

The EXOS-525 is specifically optimized to pair with Faxon threaded barrels for the P365 and P365XL. When used with other compatible 1/2×28 barrels, Faxon recommends 0.600 inch or less of barrel protrusion for the closest flush-fit appearance.
