The Faxon Duty Series 16″ 5.56 NATO 4150 Chrome Lined Mag Phosphate Carbine-Length Barrel is built for shooters who demand rugged reliability and proven performance in a classic configuration. Manufactured in-house from 4150 CMV steel, this barrel features an M4 profile that maintains strength and heat resistance while minimizing unnecessary front-end weight. This design supports improved maneuverability for patrol rifles, range carbines, or personal defense builds without compromising durability.

Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the barrel accommodates both 5.56 and .223 Remington ammunition. The button-rifled bore features a 1:7 twist rate, ideal for stabilizing heavier bullets such as 62- to 77-grain projectiles, making it suitable for defensive loads and precision match ammunition alike. The chrome-lined bore and chamber provide outstanding corrosion resistance and heat tolerance, especially during high round counts, while also simplifying maintenance over time.
