Constructed from extruded 6061 aluminum and finished in black hard-coat anodizing, the Faxon G3 Streamline handguard is designed to balance weight reduction with structural rigidity for modern AR-15 builds. The slim dimensions help reduce unnecessary front-end bulk while maintaining usable rail space for optics, backup sights, and accessory placement. Its free-float configuration also prevents direct handguard pressure on the barrel, preserving accessory flexibility across a wide range of rifle, carbine, and AR pistol configurations.

The G3 Streamline handguard incorporates a continuous full-length top rail that aligns with the upper receiver for a consistent mounting surface. Alignment tabs interface with the receiver to help resist unwanted rotation during installation and use, while the steel barrel nut and locking plate system provide a secure mounting foundation using common armorer’s tools. The uninterrupted top rail supports flexible optic and sight positioning without gaps between the receiver and handguard.
