The Faxon AR-15 9″ G2 Streamline M-LOK^® Handguard in Black Anodized finish is a lightweight free-float rail designed for compact AR-15 and AR-9 platform builds. Part of Faxon’s Gen 2 Streamline series, this handguard combines a slim-profile exterior with modular accessory support and upgraded compatibility features for modern sporting rifle configurations.

Constructed from extruded 6061-T6 aluminum with a hard-coat black anodized finish, the G2 Streamline handguard is engineered to provide a streamlined mounting solution without unnecessary bulk. The free-float design allows the barrel to remain isolated from pressure generated through the handguard and mounted accessories, while the slim exterior profile supports modern support-hand shooting positions and lightweight rifle configurations.

The handguard features M-LOK^® mounting slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, providing modular attachment space for compatible lights, sling accessories, grips, and other rail-mounted equipment. A full-length MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny top rail includes engraved T-markings for repeatable accessory placement and continuous mounting alignment with standard AR-15 upper receivers.

Faxon’s Gen 2 updates include a removable anti-rotation tab designed to support compatibility with both billet and mil-spec upper receivers. Two integral QD sling swivel mounting points are positioned at the front 3 and 6 o’clock locations for direct sling attachment without requiring additional adapters. Internal alignment tabs help resist handguard rotation during use, while the included steel barrel nut provides a secure mounting interface.

The 9″ overall length makes this G2 Streamline handguard well suited for AR pistols, short-barreled rifle configurations, and compact general-purpose rifle builds where maneuverability and reduced front-end weight are priorities.
