The Faxon 9mm 16″ Taper Carbine Blowback Barrel is engineered for precision, reliability, and compatibility with popular pistol caliber carbine (PCC) platforms. Whether you’re building a competition-ready 9mm AR or a dependable range carbine, this barrel delivers the performance and durability that serious shooters demand. Crafted from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) steel and treated with a QPQ Nitride finish, it offers excellent resistance to corrosion, heat, and wear over time.

Unlike traditional rifle barrels, Faxon’s 9mm barrels are designed for blowback operation, eliminating the need for a gas block or gas tube. Each barrel is manufactured in-house from gun-barrel-grade bar-stock and individually headspace-checked using precision custom hardened gauges to ensure consistent performance and quality control. The tapered profile strikes a great balance between strength and weight, making it suitable for both recreational and competitive use.

Faxon PCC barrels are compatible with both Colt-style and Glock^®-style 9mm AR builds, giving builders added flexibility without compromising fit or function. The barrel also features an integrated M4-style feed ramp extension for improved feeding reliability with various types of ammunition, including hollow points and soft tips.
