Each barrel undergoes magnetic particle inspection (MPI), is stress-relieved, and is headspace-verified using custom hardened gauges to ensure quality from chamber to crown.

This model features 5R rifling, which enhances barrel longevity and consistency by minimizing bullet deformation and fouling. The 11-degree target crown improves bullet stability upon exit, helping you achieve tighter groups. A QPQ Nitride finish inside and out adds corrosion resistance and durability, while the M4 feed ramp extension is coated in Nickel Teflon for smoother, more reliable feeding.

With a mid-length gas system and 0.75″ gas block journal, this 6.5 Grendel barrel is optimized for soft recoil impulse and consistent cycling. Just what is the Gunner profile?

The Gunner profile is a blend of two of the best-performing profiles of all time: Government and Pencil. It starts with a taper similar to the Government profile near the chamber for strength, then transitions to a lightweight Pencil contour toward the muzzle. This design brings the rifle’s center of mass closer to the shooter, reducing fatigue and improving control during extended shooting sessions.
