The Faxon 5.56 NATO 14.5″ Pencil Barrel is engineered for shooters looking to shave weight without sacrificing performance. Machined in-house from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) steel and finished with a corrosion-resistant QPQ Nitride treatment, this barrel is built for long-term durability and consistent accuracy. It also includes a Nickel Teflon coated M4 feed ramp extension for smooth, reliable feeding across various types of ammunition.

Each barrel is 100% manufactured from gun-barrel-quality bar-stock and subjected to a rigorous series of tests. Faxon individually inspects every unit for headspace using precision custom hardened gauges to ensure optimal performance and drop-in compatibility. The 14.5″ Pencil Barrel is configured with a Mid-Length gas system and a 0.625″ gas block journal, delivering smoother recoil impulse and greater reliability over time.
