Faxon 350 Legend 16″ Gunner Barrel
The Faxon 350 Legend 16″ Gunner Barrel is a lightweight, performance-driven option for hunters and sport shooters looking to maximize the potential of the straight-wall 350 Legend cartridge. Machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) steel and treated with a QPQ Nitride finish, this barrel is built to resist corrosion, wear, and fouling in even the harshest field conditions. It also features an M4 feed ramp extension for improved reliability in feeding under rapid fire or hunting scenarios.
Like all Faxon barrels, the 16″ 350 Legend Gunner is 100% manufactured in-house from gun-barrel-quality bar stock. Each barrel undergoes a stringent quality control process that includes MPI testing and individual headspace inspection using precision custom hardened gauges. This ensures consistent performance, proper chamber alignment, and long service life.
This barrel is configured with a carbine-length gas system for reliable function with a wide range of loads and features a 0.75″ gas block journal. At 16 inches in length, it’s optimized for maneuverability, especially in hunting environments with dense terrain or tight quarters like blinds and tree stands.
Just what is the Gunner profile?
The Gunner profile represents the best of both performance and practicality. It combines the proven durability of the Government profile at the rear with a front-end pencil profile for improved weight reduction. This configuration removes unnecessary mass from the front of the barrel to improve handling and balance while keeping material at the rear for thermal resistance and stiffness. The result is a hybrid barrel that excels in both heat management and field agility.
