Built from 416R stainless steel, this Match Series barrel features Faxon’s renowned 5R rifling, an 11-degree target crown, and aggressive straight fluting—delivering outstanding accuracy and consistent reliability for long-range shooting and tactical applications.

Each barrel is 100% manufactured in-house from certified match-grade gun-barrel bar-stock. Faxon inspects every barrel individually for headspace using custom hardened gauges and performs Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to ensure material soundness and integrity. This meticulous attention to detail ensures your barrel performs reliably even under demanding conditions.

The 5R rifling helps reduce jacket deformation and bullet jump while improving velocity and ease of cleaning. Combined with a QPQ salt bath nitride finish and a Nickel Teflon-coated M4 feed ramp extension, the result is a barrel that resists corrosion, wears evenly, and cycles smoothly shot after shot.

The aggressive straight fluting improves heat dissipation while shaving nearly 16 ounces off the weight compared to non-fluted heavy barrels—without sacrificing accuracy or structural rigidity.
