The Faxon 16″ Pencil Profile AR15 Barrel, 5.56 NATO w/ Integral Slim Flash Hider blends ultra-lightweight design with enhanced performance features, making it an ideal choice for shooters who want to reduce front-end weight without compromising durability or functionality. Machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) steel and treated with a QPQ Nitride finish, this barrel delivers exceptional corrosion resistance, longevity, and smooth operation even under rigorous use.
This model integrates a slim 3-prong flash hider directly into the barrel’s profile, extending its overall length to a legal 16” without needing a separate, pinned muzzle device. The streamlined flash hider design also allows for easy installation or removal of low-profile gas blocks without interference—offering flexibility during assembly and maintenance.
The barrel is configured with a Mid-Length gas system and features a 0.625” gas block journal, perfectly matched for optimal cycling and reduced recoil impulse. Each barrel is manufactured entirely in-house from premium gun-barrel-quality bar-stock and is headspaced and individually tested with custom hardened gauges to ensure consistency and accuracy.
