The Faxon 16″ Gunner Profile AR15 Barrel, 5.56 NATO w/ Integral Slim Flash Hider brings together versatility, innovation, and optimized weight distribution for a high-performance barrel that’s ready for any mission. Machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) steel and treated with a QPQ Nitride finish, this barrel offers outstanding corrosion resistance and surface durability, built to withstand harsh environments and extended firing sessions.

Unlike traditional configurations that require a separate pinned device, this model includes an integrated slim 3-prong flash hider machined into the barrel. This design meets the legal 16” minimum overall length while simplifying the build process. The slim profile of the integrated flash hider allows for effortless installation or removal of a low-profile gas block, giving builders the flexibility to make changes without sacrificing performance or compliance.

Configured with a Mid-Length gas system and 0.625” gas block journal, the barrel provides smooth cycling and excellent recoil management. Every Faxon barrel is 100% manufactured in-house using premium gun-barrel-quality bar stock and is individually headspaced and tested to ensure long-lasting precision and dependability.

From the barrel extension to the gas block journal, it follows the Government taper. Past the journal, the design thins out dramatically to a Pencil front end. This reduces front-end weight, improving balance and handling, while keeping the mass to the rear for enhanced heat resistance and reduced whip.
