The Faxon 10.5″ Gunner 300 BLK 4150 Chrome Lined Mag Phosphate Pistol-Length Barrel is purpose-built for shooters looking to combine the durability of a chrome-lined duty barrel with the lightweight handling characteristics of a compact AR-15 build. Precision machined from 4150 CMV steel, this 10.5″ barrel features Faxon’s Gunner profile, which blends the ruggedness of a government contour with the streamlined feel of a pencil profile. This unique contour helps move the rifle’s center of gravity back toward the shooter, enhancing control and reducing fatigue during long training sessions or high-volume shooting days.
Chambered in 300 Blackout, this barrel supports both supersonic and subsonic ammunition for use in a variety of applications including suppressed builds, hunting setups, or compact defense rifles. The button rifling with a 1:8 twist rate is ideal for stabilizing a wide range of bullet weights, particularly heavier rounds used in suppressed configurations. With a chrome-lined bore and chamber, the barrel delivers superior resistance to corrosion and heat erosion, significantly extending service life even under harsh conditions. Externally, a manganese phosphate finish provides a non-reflective surface and added protection from the elements.
The pistol-length gas system ensures reliable cycling and consistent pressure regulation, whether used suppressed or unsuppressed. This barrel features a 5/8×24 TPI muzzle thread, allowing users to easily attach brakes, flash hiders, or sound suppressors. The .750″ gas block journal with a 1.9″ length is compatible with most low-profile gas blocks. An M4 barrel extension guarantees solid lockup with standard AR-15 upper receivers, while the recessed 11-degree target crown promotes uniform gas exit and improved accuracy.
Weighing just 1.10 lbs, this barrel is light enough for fast handling yet strong enough for repeated abuse. Each barrel is magnetic particle inspected to verify integrity and performance.
