The Bravo Company MCMR 7″ M-LOK AR-15 Handguard – Black is a compact and robust upgrade designed for AR-15 platforms using carbine-length or shorter gas systems with low-profile gas blocks. Ideal for short-barreled rifles, lightweight builds, or pistol configurations, this 7-inch handguard maximizes strength and modularity in a compact footprint. Precision-machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with MIL-A-8625F Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodizing, the MCMR-7 offers long-lasting durability and excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. Its free-floating design isolates the barrel from external contact, helping improve accuracy and consistency even under hard use. The handguard features Bravo Company’s slim MCMR profile with M-LOK mounting slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, along with upper diagonal slots for offset accessories such as lights or IR devices. A continuous Picatinny rail along the top provides a stable platform for optics or sights. The narrow 1.5″ external width and 1.3″ internal diameter make this handguard comfortable in hand while accommodating most low-profile gas blocks. Bravo Company’s patented steel barrel nut and lock-up system (U.S. Patent 8904691) offers mechanical indexing for proper alignment and resistance to movement during high-heat or high-round-count use. The system ensures a rock-solid connection with the upper receiver and simplifies installation with standard tools.
