Berry’s 9mm 115gr RN is a plated bullet component engineered for reloaders assembling dependable, clean-shooting 9mm Luger cartridges. With a traditional round nose (RN) profile and a 115-grain weight, this bullet offers smooth chambering and optimal balance for high-volume training, competition practice, and everyday range sessions. It is a bullet component only—not factory-loaded ammunition—and is compatible with a wide array of semi-automatic handguns and PCCs.

The bullet features a swaged lead core completely encapsulated in copper through an electroplating process. A final re-strike operation refines its dimensions and ensures tight tolerances. Measuring .355″ in diameter and .550″ in bullet overall length, it is designed for use in cartridges seated to a nominal overall length of 1.130″. The full copper plating eliminates exposed lead, supporting indoor range use while reducing barrel fouling over prolonged firing sessions.

The RN geometry enhances feeding reliability in double-stack magazines and conventional 9mm barrels. Its 115gr mass delivers manageable recoil and consistent point-of-impact, ideal for rapid-fire drills, IDPA or USPSA practice, and general-purpose plinking. The bullet is stabilized effectively by standard 1-in-10″ to 1-in-16″ twist rate barrels commonly found in service pistols and AR-9 platforms.

Berry’s recommends not exceeding a velocity of 1,250 feet per second. Staying within this threshold protects the integrity of the plating and promotes predictable ballistic performance. Load data for 115gr plated or jacketed RN bullets can be used as a guide. Either a taper or roll crimp may be applied, though over-crimping should be avoided to prevent separation of the copper plating and potential accuracy loss.
