The BCM Gunfighter MK2 Asymmetric AR-15 Charging Handle – Large Latch is engineered for right-handed shooters who demand speed, control, and rugged dependability under pressure. Designed with an extended latch measuring approximately 1.14″ beyond the body, this handle provides confident, easy access when running optics, gloves, or clearing malfunctions in high-stress scenarios.

Unlike ambidextrous models, the asymmetric design on this MK2 variant places an enlarged latch solely on the strong side, minimizing weight and reducing snag potential on the support side. This makes it ideal for duty rifles or personal defense setups where streamlined function and fast access take priority.

BCM’s Mod 3-style venting system directs excess gas through integrated top and side exhaust ports, helping mitigate blowback on suppressed builds or during extended shooting sessions. A rear-facing gas deflection shelf further improves shooter comfort by reducing gas exposure to the face and eyes.

Internally, the MK2 features a reinforced architecture that centers charging force along the rifle’s axis. This reduces stress on the roll pin and minimizes flex—common failure points in standard charging handles—resulting in smoother operation and longer service life.
