The Ballistic Advantage 9MM Modern Series 11″ EPC Straight Barrel is purpose-built for blowback-operated 9mm AR platforms, combining an 11-inch straight profile with Ballistic Advantage’s EPC-compatible feed geometry and 1/2×28 muzzle threads. Machined from 4150 CrMoV steel and protected by a QPQ corrosion-resistant finish, this barrel provides a durable foundation for a compact 9mm AR or PCC build.

Unlike a traditional AR-15 barrel that uses a separate barrel extension, Ballistic Advantage’s 9mm design incorporates the extension directly into the barrel. This means the published 11-inch length is the true overall barrel length; externally, it is comparable in installed length to approximately a 10.5-inch 5.56 barrel.

EPC-Enhanced 9mm Feed Geometry

The barrel incorporates Ballistic Advantage’s enhanced feed ramp to improve cartridge presentation in compatible 9mm blowback systems. This EPC-oriented design makes it particularly well suited for dedicated 9mm AR builds using compatible upper receivers, lowers, bolts, and magazines.

4150 CrMoV Steel with QPQ Finish

Ballistic Advantage machines the barrel from 4150 CrMoV steel and applies a QPQ corrosion-resistant finish to improve surface hardness, wear resistance, and protection against corrosion. The treatment provides a durable black finish suited to high-use PCC and AR9 builds.

1:10 Twist for 9mm Luger

A 1:10 twist rate provides stable performance across common 9mm projectile weights, while the straight barrel profile maintains consistent material along the barrel for rigidity and durability.

1/2×28 Muzzle Threads

The muzzle uses 1/2×28 threads with a .5-inch full-profile thread length, providing compatibility with properly bored 9mm muzzle devices and suppressor mounts that use the same thread pattern.
