Unlike tall sights intended to co-witness through a red-dot optic, the ABA130 uses a low-profile, standard-height design suited to pistols running conventional iron sights. This preserves a familiar presentation while replacing the factory-style dot arrangement with a cleaner sight picture. It is a practical option for range pistols, competition-oriented builds, carry configurations, and aftermarket slides where daylight visibility and an uncluttered rear sight are preferred.
High-Visibility Fiber-Optic Front Sight
The .195″-tall front sight accepts 1.5mm fiber-optic material and is supplied with both red and green rods. Either color can be installed based on personal preference, lighting conditions, or the visual contrast provided by the target and surroundings. The exposed fiber gathers ambient light to create a bright aiming reference without batteries or electronic components.
Because both fiber colors are included, the sight can be configured without purchasing a separate replacement rod. The fiber can also be replaced later if it becomes damaged or if a different color is desired.
Serrated Black Rear Sight
A .200″-tall rear sight complements the fiber-optic front. Its .125″-wide notch provides open space around the front blade, while horizontal serrations across the rear face help diffuse glare under bright or directional lighting. The rear contains no dots, outlines, or illuminated elements that could compete with the front fiber for attention.
The rear sight also incorporates a shortened front ledge for clearance on many aftermarket slides with an optic cut positioned near the rear dovetail. This remains a standard-height iron-sight set and is not intended to provide an optic co-witness. Slide and optic-cut dimensions should be confirmed before installation.
Billet Steel Construction
Angry Bear Arms machines the sights in the USA from billet alloy steel. Both pieces use a dehorned, snag-resistant profile with softened exterior edges that reduce unnecessary sharp corners. Fitment: The ABA130 is intended for standard small-frame Glock pistols using traditional Glock sight cuts, including compatible models chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG. It is not intended for slimline models such as the G43, G43X, or G48, or large-frame models such as the G20 and G21. This is not an optic-height or suppressor-height sight set.
Installation requires a 3/16″ Glock front-sight tool and an appropriate rear-sight pusher. Aftermarket slide tolerances can vary, so minor fitting may be necessary. Confirm the slide’s dovetail dimensions and optic-cut clearance before installation.
