The Aero Precision AR-15 7.3″ ATLAS R-ONE M-LOK® Handguard in OD Green Anodized is a compact free-float handguard engineered for lightweight AR-15 pistol and short-barreled rifle configurations. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the R-ONE series is designed with size and weight reduction in mind while maintaining the strength, stability, and slim profile Aero Precision handguards are known for.
The R-ONE configuration features a full-length Picatinny top rail for optics, backup sights, and other rail-mounted accessories, while M-LOK® attachment slots provide flexible mounting options for lights, sling accessories, hand stops, and additional equipment. Integrated quick-disconnect sling sockets at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions further support adaptable rifle setups for training, recreational shooting, and defensive applications.
Aero Precision’s proprietary ATLAS attachment system (Aero Taper Lock Attachment System) is designed to provide a durable and dependable mounting platform while preserving a streamlined overall profile. The system uses two mirrored tapered locking nuts that apply evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom-engineered barrel nut through the use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the handguard and provides positive registration during installation. By design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system helps reduce handguard distortion sometimes associated with traditional mounting methods.
The Aero Precision AR-15 7.3″ ATLAS R-ONE M-LOK® Handguard is compatible with mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers and barrels and is designed to pair seamlessly with Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers. Due to the indexing tab design, compatibility with some billet upper receivers may vary. This handguard is not compatible with Aero Precision M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receivers.
Because this handguard features a colored anodized finish, slight variations in shade may occur between individual parts or compared to product images. Colored anodized finishes are held to different cosmetic standards than black anodizing or Cerakote® finishes.
