7.62 Nagant Brass
Our once-fired 7.62 Nagant Brass is a reliable option for reloaders working with one of the most distinctive revolver cartridges in history. Sourced primarily from indoor ranges, this brass features mixed commercial headstamps and cleans up with little effort. Whether you’re loading for the classic Nagant M1895 revolver or a reproduction model, this brass provides a solid reloading foundation for the unique 7.62x38mmR cartridge.
Each lot is machine- and magnetically sorted to remove steel and other non-brass cases. We then visually inspect all cases at multiple stages to discard damaged or unusable examples, ensuring a high-quality product that meets the needs of precision-minded handloaders. The bottlenecked, gas-seal design of 7.62x38mmR demands consistent case integrity—making inspection a key part of our process.
All orders are filled to 101% by weight to compensate for any culls and are bagged securely to protect the brass during shipping. While nickel cases may be present in small numbers, they are included within the overage, ensuring reloaders receive maximum usable content per order.
Cleaning services are also available for this caliber. When in stock, our optional upgrade delivers fully tumbled, lube-ready 7.62 Nagant Brass—saving time at the bench and providing reloaders with a ready-to-size, polished product. Options can be selected above when available.
Designed for use in gas-seal revolvers, 7.62x38mmR brass requires careful handling and reliable case performance. Our once-fired brass offers an economical and dependable solution for shooters looking to keep this historic cartridge in service, whether for range work, collection, or reenactment.
