The Magpul PMAG D-60 is a lightweight, durable, and highly reliable 60-round drum magazine for 5.56×45 NATO/.223 Remington* ammunition, designed for AR-15/M4-compatible weapons. Offering twice the capacity of a standard 30-round magazine without requiring a reload, the D-60 provides an advantage in extended shooting scenarios while maintaining a manageable size.
The unique drum configuration keeps the overall height compact, making it easier to shoot from a prone position and simplifying storage. The D-60 features an easy-to-use loading lever that reduces spring tension for effortless manual loading. Additionally, a rear window provides a quick capacity check, and a paint pen dot matrix allows for easy marking and identification.
Designed for broad compatibility, the PMAG D-60 works with most ‘STANAG 4179’ platforms, including the AR-15, M4, M16, SCAR MK16/16S, HK416, MR556, M27 IAR, IWI Tavor, and others. It is built to lock the bolt back after the last round on most AR-15/M4/HK416 platforms. However, inserting an empty magazine and manually cycling the charging handle will not activate the bolt hold-open feature, and some non-Colt-spec bolt hold-open levers may not function with this magazine.
